Im September 2004 hat die Academy of Living Movement in Wien eröffnet. Diese Berufsausbildung hat einen neuen Ansatz für die Schulung von DarstellerInnen des Faches Bewegung, der Eurythmie mit Körpertraining, Improvisation und den Entwicklungen des Tanzes im 20. Jahrhundert in Verbindung bringt. Das Ziel ist Living Movement Artists auszubilden, die auf Grund des vielseitigen und fundierten Studiums in der Lage sind,  kreativ mit verschiedenen Anforderungen aus dem Themenbereich Bewegung umzugehen und die vorrangig als KünstlerInnen oder auch als PädagogInnen und TherapeutInnen arbeiten können.

Das internationale Kollegium der Academy of Living Movement setzt sich zusammen aus erfahrenen KünstlerInnen: Philip Beaven, Hans Fors, Marianne Kleiser-Fors, Brigitte Reepmaker, Ernst Reepmaker, sowie GastdozentInnen: Rob Barendsma, Melaine McDonald, Bettina Grube, Birgit Hering u.a. Die Suche dieser KollegInnen nach neuen Bewegungsqualitäten hat sowohl ihre innovative künstlerische Arbeit als auch Unterrichtsmethode über die Jahre geprägt. Als Stil der Academy of Living Movement ist eine virtuose und kreative Bewegungssprache entstanden, die Zukunftsimpulse setzen kann.

Unterrichtssprachen sind Deutsch und Englisch.

In September 2004 the Academy of Living Movement has opened its doors in Vienna. The Academy offers a professional performance training, bringing a new approach to the schooling of movement artists, that places eurythmy in the context of the developments that have taken place in movement and dance during the 20^th century. Its aim is to develop independent movement artists who are equipped to respond to whatever creative opportunities present themselves, firstly as performers, but also as teachers or therapists.

The training draws its main teachers from experienced artists, who are working throughout Europe: Philip Beaven, Hans Fors, Marianne Kleiser-Fors, Brigitte  Reepmaker, Ernst Reepmaker. Guest teachers will include: Rob Barendsma, Melaine McDonald, Bettina Grube, Birgit Hering, a.o. These are all individuals who are in search of new movement qualities as well as artistic innovation, which are reflected in their teaching methods.The Academy of Living Movement aims to build a tradition of excellence and innovation in the art of movement  that will inspire future performers.

Lessons are taught in English and German.
